Editing a note immediately after adding it

I frequently need to create a new note and then edit the contents. I can click on the editing frame of course, but is there any keyboard shortcut?

Press Enter / Return to confirm the note’s creation, then ⌥⇥ (option-tab) to place the cursor in the text pane of that note. You could merge these steps in a KM macro, if you wished.
