How to Enable Label for Type of View on Tabs in Tbx 8

It was very helpful to have a label showing the kind of view on each tab for other versions of Tbx. Is there a way to enable this in V. 8? My MBP Running Sierra and my MBA with High Sierra do not display them.

Here is a screenshot taken from the Tinderbox website to illustrate what I am referring to in case I am using the wrong terminology.

Here, on macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave) in Tinderbox v8.1.1 the tab icons show OK. This might be an OS/framework issue. I’d email tech support (info@eastgate.com).
