The old forum was offline for a few days because an update to the server operating system broke one of its script libraries. I’m not certain we can (or really should) keep it online forever, but would be supportive of an effort to find the good parts to salvage!
I think the key step is just to look for threads that are of lasting interest. Make a list of URLs; that’s the key. Then we can think about extracting them here, or to a Tinderbox, or to static web pages.
