A question about aliases

Hi everybody! I don’t quite understand why my document contains so many aliases when I haven’t created any. Is there an explanation? Could it be, for example, because I copied and pasted notes from one file to another and that these notes, in the original file, had aliases? Thanks for your lights… and by the way: Tinderbox is so awesome!

Agents make aliases. Might you have forgotten about an agent?

The first place to look is your 4 agents. Note the alias count of each, or use this edict on a note:

$MyNumber = collect(find($AgentQuery!=""),$ChildCount);

The code will find your (4) agents† and count their total. If it is 445, then your 4 agents are the source and you should inspect each to find why it has so/too many aliases. If the figure is less than 445, you must have some manually created aliases.

†. Assumption: you have no smart adornments

The count is correct. I have 4 agents and when I add up the number of notes they collect, I get 445… and I just understood! I have 445 aliases that correspond to the notes I collect with my agents. Where is my mind? … so happy to work with Tbx.
