Active Hyperlinks in Column View?

Sounds good - many thanks

Perhaps in the DA Table, clicking on the title of the attribute would be a target to open the URL whereas clicking on the text of the URL would edit it?

No worries, needs differ.

As per the second answer in the post above, the problem of enforcing only one method is it removes range of function. Making the edit [sic] panel not edit things … makes editing difficult. A confusing factor is not all users use the same parts of the app and in the same way. Some users do more than copy/paste links and not being able to easily edit them would reduce productivity. At the same time, if you mostly interact with weblinks merely as click-link-initiators, this would give a different perspective. Tinderbox offers choice.

FWIW, showing variety in URL handling actually exists, Bookends uses a similar approach to Tinderbox’s Displayed Attributes table:

More importantly, I’m sure you’ll find that when the Big Sur issues are resolved, that the UI is less confusing than you are currently finding it.

Not confusing at all - just very inefficient at what should be a core competency of this software (Hypertext)

Sounds like Mark Bernstein has a plan that should work for all users - thank you
