The next backstage build will change the way Tinderbox reads dates from its XML files, and the way is parses ISO-8601 dates like “2019-02-28T12:00:00-04:00”. I tend to think of it, I hope correctly, as Tinderbox storing a particular point in time as an ISO date-time string. That point in time should not change after switching to another time zone and then back again.

I wonder how many historical dates seem “off” by 1 day depending on where one is located on Earth.
