In response to Mark B’s request for guest speaker suggestions AND the brief discussion about the demise(?) of blogging, it might be interesting to hear from those who seem to be sustaining their blogging efforts. One that comes to mind is Heather Cox Richardson who posts (almost) daily well documented commentaries that put recent events in historical perspective (Letters from an American). She also does live Q&A sessions every so often, and has quite a following – claiming 1.1million subscribers.
I’d like to suggest Stephen Zeoli is his name I think, the person who runs the welcometosherwood blog. He’s constantly examining note-taking apps, and has a dedicated Tinderbox section on his site.
