Clicking and nothing is happening in map view or in outline view. I was trying to do some work in outline view when my ‘clicking’ stopped hailing any response. I returned to map view and I got the same thing. Ex: double click to create a new note = nada. Click to open a container and nothing happens. Click on an entry in Outline view and note info doesn’t appear.
I restarted my laptop to see if that would help; nada.
Tinderbox is not appearing as highlighted in force quit.
Hard to tell as the Mac has been re-started, but it’s not a common/known issue, lest that be assumed. What app and OS versions are you using? Also:
Now you’ve re-started the Mac, does the problem persist?
If it occurs look at the Apple Activity monitor app, are any apps using significant CPU or memory? Bearing mind, the Mac’s Ui can slow up is [some process/app] is hogging resources. In such cases, all apps may become sluggish/unresponsive.
Is it in only one TBX document or all TBX documents?
The app is made by Apple and called “Activity Monitor” and is a standard instal on all Macs. It is in the 'Utilities" sub-folder of your Applications folder.
As this is a user-to-user forum, I’d suggest this be raised directly with Technical Support which is done via email to tinderbox@eastgate.com.
Meanwhile, you could try diagnosing further by making a new Tinderbox app (and with your other one closed). Add some content. Do you see the same issues.
If it is only occurring in one document, this may involve others having sight of the problem TBX, thus the suggestion for direct contact with support so private files can be shared in private.
