DT3 Custom Metadata and Tinderbox attributes

Wouldn’t it be desirable to automatically set matching User attributes with the new “custom metadata”, introduced in the latest incarnation of DEVONthink, when I drag a note or watch a folder?

Of course, now that we have AppleScript support, I can implement the functionality on my own. But I wonder if it isn’t just natural to have this as a native Tinderbox feature.

Is there a link that explains how this new DEVONthink works? It might save us some googling. :slight_smile:

Mark, it seems pretty straightforward. We can now in DT configure custom fields for all the records. This is what you find in the Preferences pane:
