A combnation of Frederiko’s Annotation Pane (Annotation Pane (Annotation with Links, Notes, Tags v3) - Automation - DEVONtechnologies Community) and @pat’s PublishToDevonthink (Publish from Tinderbox to DEVONthink) is the closest I get to that dream connection.
Unfortunately, both of the scripts are not officially supported. Pat has already abandoned his script. Annotation Pane is so far robust, but can break at any point.
