This is an introduction to the 5Cs TBX Tables, Libraries, and Templates file, a key component of the 5Cs School Mastering Tinderbox publishing system. This Tinderbox file empowers you to generate tables (standard, row span, and transposed) from the child notes of a selected note. It is a compliment to the built-in Table View in Tinderbox.
Key File Features Include:
- Dynamically generate tables from child note attribute values: standard, row span, transposed
- Modify attribute values and labels used to generate tables
- Format attribute values in tables, e.g., numbers, dates URLs, flags.
- Use advTable5Cs macro to insert a table anywhere in your Tinderbox document
- Supports the use of agents to produce filtered tables
- Supports table captioning: label, caption, note, credit, and citation. Table notes can include action code to create expressed values, e.g., the average of a number.
