You can align the title inside the container not only horizontally (left, center, right) but also vertically (top, center, bottom)?

No. Vertical alignment is controlled by the app. If there is no $Text, or display of $Text has been suppressed, the title (and optional subtitle) are displayed vertically centred. If $Text is show—see more—the title (and subtitle) are shown at the top of the map above the text.
