It’s been a long Sunday but all 10 baselines (/tbx/ through /atbref10/) should now work on the new domain.
Old: https://www.acrobatfaq.com/atbref10/index.html
New: https://atbref.com/atbref10/index.html
[edit: error in target URL of new site now fixed]
Redirects in older baselines (on either domain) now point to Redirect which will auto-redirect to the current baseline (atbref10 at present)
I’ve also migrated the folders of demo, Clarify tutorials etc., to the new domain.
As part of the migration I’ve updated all references in HTML pages to acrobatfaq.com to use atbref.com. I do not intend to update past PDF versions of aTbRef or to edit the source TBXs for past baselines. The next baseline with be on atbref.com only.
Don’t try to load https://atbref.com/ as it will error as I’ve not yet made that page. Just use the URL for aTbRef10 but substituting the new domain for the old one.
If you hit errors (other than the lack of a domain root page) please let me know. The migration involved a lot of (hopefully) careful regex work on the HTML pages so I’m be amazed if I didn’t miss something or made a typo somewhere. I can’t fix errors of which I don’t know so please report them rather than assume someone else will.
Existing content will remain live on acrobatfaq.com for a bit so search engines and the Internet Archive can catch up.
I’ve been meaning to do this for near on a decade so I’m glad it is finally done. I don’t envisage ‘moving house’ again (certainly not with all the edge cases involved).
Hopefully, aTbRef is now good for another couple of decades!
