I’m bummed that we’ve hit a roadblock with the $Text ‘semi-formatting’ issue. i’ll be interested to see how the feature request plays out. ISTM a valid case of incremental improvement of the app to reflect the growing complexity of the users’ work :).

And, for lurking readers, don’t be afraid to post an alternative idea even if a solution has been posted—the first answer is not always the best (even if it works), and don’t assume longer-term users necessarily will always have the best answer. discussion of alternative solutions can sometimes be useful and lead to new insights for us all.
