“Create note” is grayed out. I just closed v9, where it worked fine a minute ago, to reopen the same file in v10, where now it’s not working. “Use Filter” is off. I’ve also closed tbx and reopened it, but it still doesn’t work.
However, it does NOT seem to be with tbx itself. I created a new file and there it works. Anyone have a suggestion?
Perhaps the focus is not where you think it is? Click on the view pane.

Problem solved, I think. Turns out I had registered the previous version improperly (even though it seemed to have been working fine for nearly five months). Now that the proper key is in there, “new entry” works. Strange, and I suppose it might recur, but I’ll hope for the best. Thanks.
