Hide grid lines in Timeline?

I’m struggling to find a way to hide or at least lighten the vertical gridlines in Timeline view. I have tried to edit the attribute TimelineGridColor without success. Has anybody got any pointers? Alternatively, is there a way to set the scale of when they appear – every 5 years, say, rather than every year?

I thought (see here), clearly that is wrong:

The implication is the colour is hard coded, but looking at a default colour timeline, the scale grid lines seem to use $TimelineScaleColor. But changing the latter fails to change the grid lines. Bug? @eastgate?

It’s currently fixed. We’ll expose it in an attribute.
