Importing Images into Map View

Tinderbox 11, Map View

I am following instructions (I think):

I drag an image into the note pane
I drag that image into an empty note I create in the map

The image transfers and all is good, except putting the image into the note creates a container, and a container shaped frame around the image.

Is there a way to either avoid or correct the frame so all 4 corners of the image in my map are the same?

I’m not sure where those instructions are from but they seem to be for two different uses. For images, first check you are using a supported image format for embedding.

Pictures in notes can be approached two ways:

Image Adornments - in map view only as these are considered adornments.
Or by inserting images into note $Text. See also embedded image fills.

Choose either/both options according to your actual need.

Deb, I’d be curious to know what you’re ultimate goal is by having the images in TBX. Are you looking to eventually copy and paste, print, or export your notes?
