Is there a way to quickly drag the mouse and select multiple notes at once in map view?
Hold down Option and the click-hold-drag the mouse to cause a selection box to appear (rectangular) which can be dragged about a selection of notes.

Also, click a note to select it, and then ⌘-click other notes to add them to the selection.
