Map is empty when I open files that were previously OK

I’m a new user. I created a few Tinderbox files. each has multiple boxes in Map view that are connected with lines.

Today when I open those files, there appears to be nothing in the Map view, although the outlines appear OK.

I’ve scrolled around in the Map window, but see nothing. Maybe the scale is wrong. Is there a simple way to fix this?

  1. Send a copy of a file to tinderbox@eastgate.com, or post it here. There might be a problem!

  2. The most likely explanation is that you’re looking inside a note that has no children. The breadcrumb bar above the map view will tell you the ancestors of the current view.

curious though that once I fixed it in one file, all the other files were showing top level Map view. possibly something got set in the app that affected view in all files? Running 9.1

9.1 is 4 ½ years out of date, and I don’t remember every idiosyncrasy. But I can’t think of any setting that would affect views in other files.
