Padding with leading "zeros" - trouble with function

The difference (if any, other than the name) between list.size() and list.count(). Here they differ for a list type variable receiving the returned value from a function but are the same for a list type attribute receiving the returned value from the same function.

That sounds like an error. A minimal example would be a big help here.
