Pulling attributes from text

Hi guys. I’ve followed this thread, as well as:

I have a regex that extracts ‘Key Messages’ from my meetings’ notes $Text ( to populate a set-type KA - ‘$KeyMessages’ for later reports etc…) - “KM:[\s\w’-]+$” I start such Key messages with KM: Blah blah blah … Blah This works ( and thanks for the BBEdit tip in last week’s meetup ) How can I get all the results to populate a list/set? $KeyMessages=$Text.extract(“KM:[\s\w’-]+$”); is easy enough and works but only picks up the last entry?

During the meet-up yesterday, it became apparent that the real task is to lose all current $Text up to the first ># marker. This appears to work $Text=$Text.replace(">#$","").replace("[^>]+>#",""); The first .replace removes the end marker which otherwise confuses the main regex. See Fix text.tbx (82.3 KB)

I’ve also gone on various sites on the internet that can help me build Regex. However, I’m still totally stuck. I’m requesting some assistance. I’ve narrowed the problem down to my ignorance of Regex. I’m hoping someone could help me with this. What I’d like to do is extrac the blocks from $Text and insert them under the relevant attributes. Please if I could get the Query and the Action, I’d be much obliged. Thanks.
