Quirks in 11.5.2

In Map view, dog-ears, indicating the presence of text content in a note, only show in the rectangle and rounded shapes. I use Tinderbox for presentations and the dog-ears reminds me there is more to show in a particular note. It would be helpful if it displayed in all note shapes.

If I am showing a Map view in full screen, with the ‘View only’ state, and switch to outline view and then back to map, state is not preserved. That is, when I return, Map view is now in ‘View and Text’ mode. Furthermore, in switching to Outline view from Map view, there is a transient overlay of green borders demarcating outline vs text. These borders do not match the final layout of outline and text seen in Outline view; so it is unclear why they appear. Also, the outline portion of the view is always off the left edge of the screen and must be scrolled back.

I don’t know if these are quirks of the latest release but do not remember seeing these glitches in the past. The dog-ear issue, however, has been present for some time.

The problem is, where to draw the dog ears? For example, an oval doesn’t have a lower right-hand corner. I’m certainly open to suggestions on this.

Yep! This will be fixed in the next release; it’s already addressed in the current backstage release.

Thank you.

Might the dog-ears for non-rectangular shapes be placed at the bottom center anchor point? I realize this is not as ‘neat’ in appearance as the right bottom for the rectangles.
