Resizing Container "Snapback"

Running Version 11.0.1 (b737) on Sequoia Version 15.6.1 (24G90)

I am trying to resize a container and it “won’t listen to me” :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: insisting on returning to its previous size.

I have tried resizing from the top instead of the bottom, by zooming in/out, by increasing its distance from neighbouring containers. Even when I move it beyond its relation to other containers it insists on snapping back.

What’s that movie title, “A Mind of Their Own”?
Please send help.

Interesting… it will respond if I increase the container’s side allowances (empty space past the furthermost note).

So I have a solution, but TinderBox will dictate the left/right dimensions/size of the container.

Are you making a small change? If so, you might need to turn off View ▸ Guides. Guides “snap” note positions and dimensions to align with nearby notes.

Yes, a small adjustment. Thank you; I’ll try that.
