Yes, we’re aware of the issue with Notes and Catalina. Unfortunately, there’s no relevant documentation on what changed, or if the change was deliberate.

Is Simplenote still working with Tinderbox under Catalina?
It does not seem to work here … as far as I can see.
Not at present – at least not for everyone. It’s not clear that the Simplenote API is going to be maintained.
Evernote is fine on Catalina, and the new Tot support is also quite nice.
