Struggling with Tinderbox and a suggestion

I cannot imagine what someone with your expertise found stressful about Tinderbox. But it’s improved a lot in the last seven years, and so has the community. Were you to get stuck today in trying to tackle some task, I have no doubt but that a number of eager hands would be ready to heave you out of the mud.

This reminds me of what in securities analysis is sometimes called “switching costs.” Valid point!

Tinderbox does indeed have substantial switching costs in terms of time spent getting it to do anything beyond the mundane tasks other apps can handle just as well, sometimes in a more intuitive (i.e., familiar) fashion.

But with the advent of Poster notes and functions and new main Views, Tinderbox really can do just about anything now.

It has improved a lot and is more accessible than before. I suggest taking it for another spin if you haven’t done so for a while.
