I sometimes open a table view in a new tab to sort notes based on creation date. Then I can easily see which were the latest ones. If I close the document with this tab and view and open it up again, the table view is empty. If I close the tab, open a new, and change it to table view, the notes are shown again.
Out of interest, what happens if you click the tabs label in the tab bar immediately above the text/view panes?
IOW, I wonder if this is a simple incorrect initialisation issue. It should not occur but click-refreshing the tab might work around the problem whilst the true issue is dignosed.
Paraphrasing: the issue is that if a table view tab is active and the TBX is closed, on re-open the view does not populate correctly. In other use the table

Can you send me a copy of this document? tinderbox@eastgate.com
I can recreate it by adding one note to an empty document, open a new tab and change it to table, save it, close and reopen. Then table view will be empty. Selecting table view will again show the note.
