In this Tinderbox Meetup, we reviewed several Tinderbox fundamentals, namely the use of Explode, the use and history of regular expression (RegEx), and the use of Export Code with a twist. We reviewed several examples of using export code in the body of notes (i.e., in $Text) rather than in templates. We looked at using this code within the context of the “this” and “that” notes. In writing reports, Becker demonstrated the application of these skills, along with ChatGPT. He also showed how he employs Markdown and Pandoc—uses stamps to create drafts and export long-form documents.
