In this Tinderbox Meetup, Mark Bernstein provided an overview of how to use the native macOS Git capabilities to perform TBX file version control. He also reviewed a new view that will be included in an imminent TBX release, “Information City.” Marks also briefly discussed another pending new feature, MCP support with Claude, which will enable Claude (and other AIs) to control Tinderbox.

Interesting to see all these new developments in the YouTube video. Mark @eastgate, I don’t if you have already been looking into this, but the Information City view has commonalities with the loci and memory palace techniques used by competitive memory athletes, as described in the book Moonwalking with Einstein.

There is even an app out there that seeks to create virtual memory palaces to help individuals remember stuff through leveraging the hippocampus’s capacity for encoding information spatially.

Maybe a useful direction, maybe not.

Yes, memory palaces were prominent in our discussions.
