This session explored how Tinderbox can support increasingly complex knowledge-management and automation workflows. Participants shared practical examples, including routing email based on employee availability, maintaining a large academic citation database, generating reports in multiple formats, and managing performance in large Tinderbox documents. The discussion broadened into the challenges of organizing digital information, finding previously collected material, preserving useful context, and creating connections across multiple Tinderbox files.
The session also examined the emerging relationship between Tinderbox and personal AI. Michael demonstrated how content can be published from Tinderbox into a Prifina personal AI or digital twin, positioning Tinderbox as a curated source of truth for both private and public AI systems. Participants discussed digital-twin use cases, data ownership, privacy, knowledge graphs, AI-generated documentation, and the importance of maintaining human judgment and agency. The group emphasized that AI works best as a patient assistant for testing, sequencing, troubleshooting, and documenting human-designed systems—not as an unquestioned decision-maker.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this session, participants should be able to:
- Explain how Tinderbox links, attributes, stamps, prototypes, and exports can support sophisticated knowledge-management workflows.
- Describe strategies for organizing and retrieving digital information using purpose, context, metadata, and relationships.
- Explain how Tinderbox can serve as a curated knowledge source for a private personal AI or public digital twin.
- Distinguish between AI-generated descriptions and genuinely useful documentation that explains what, how, why, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Apply a human-directed approach to AI collaboration that preserves consistent terminology, verifies outputs, protects sensitive data, and maintains human agency.
