Very interesting. Will a recording of the talk be available for those who cannot attend? Thank you for your consideration.

Best regards,
Enrico

I think so, but I’m a guest! Recordings of other talks are available on their site.

Thank you. I’ve emailed the host to receive a clarification. I’ll post here what I find out. Thanks again.

Best regards,
Enrico

The host confirmed that the talk will be recorded and available through their YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@toolsforthought). No need to register to access it.

Best regards,
Enrico

The slides are here: https://www.eastgate.com/download/Tools%20For%20Thought.pdf

@eastgate’s talks are full of detail. I’ve gathered the references on-screen/implied/mentioned into a .bib BibTex file for input into your Reference Manager app (100+ references). I’ve also supplied an RTF file the cross-references presentation slide to BibTeX citekey. This zip file contains the RTF and BIB files: references.zip (52.7 KB) [Edit: updated version of this in post below]

If you only read the RTF file, you’re missing most of the detail.

†. There are lots of RM apps, free and pay for. Talked about in the forum of late are Bookends and Zotero.

OK, I found a few omissions, so this is an update: References.zip (53.6 KB) (I don’t foresee addition changes)

As some folk have asked in the margins, yes, I am sharing these files with the event organisers. Indeed, that was the starting point. Those here are just getting to the files here rather than elsewhere. Indeed it’s up to the organisers whether they choose to share onwards.

Oh, and any errors in the file are mine, and not the original presenter’s.
