I have come across situations where notes are drawing over each other in chart view. Is it possible to control the spacing in the view to reduce this effect? The attached tbx file shows an example of this.

Click the Chart Settings Popover, the small icon on the upper left corner of the tab, and modify the settings as needed to expand the view horizontally or vertically.

Yes, this was raised by another just recently, (and unknown to you) has been confirmed and reported to the developer, and marked by them for attention. But thank you nonetheless.
If the view controls as noted by @PaulWalters don’t fix the issue, any better fix will have to await the next release because it will need changes internal to the app.
