In my Tinderbox document of daily journal notes, I have notes that represent dated meetings and events (with defined $StartDate and $EndDate attributes). I want to use an agent to collect a group of these notes and then work with the agent’s aliases in a Map View.
I create a query in an Agent that generates a group of alias notes, and I hoist the resulting agent group into a new tab. I set the View to Map, and the notes array nicely in a grid view.
But, I want to start brainstorming with these notes, and create links and groupings of them. When I move any of these alias notes, they immediately snap back into the grid view. I can’t move them into Adornments or connect them with links.
I must be missing something here … or else I’m misunderstanding the way this task can be done in Tinderbox.
