I’m an experienced user of MarginNote (note taking on documents + mindmaping). I have so many notes in it that it gets very difficult to work with. That’s why I’m looking for a more powerfull note manager + mindmap app. Tinderbox8 looks like what I need but… I have to buy a macbook to enjoy it. I would be happy to do so if I was 100% sure TB8 is what I look for.
I won’t try to explain in details my needs so I propose a simple situation that reflects it. It would be nice if some of you guys could tell me if this can be solved in TB8.
Here is the situation:
Family and friends.
Paul has family.
Paul has friends.
Paul belongs the group of TB8 users.
I can map the familial relationships.
I can draw the friendly relationships around paul in a separated map.
I would like the “paul card” to be the same in family-context, friend-context and in all groups he belonds to. So that if I update the relation between paul and a friend of him, the “paul card” in family-context is updated too (and everywhere else Paul is). Moreover I’d like to be able to see all relations around paul (family and friends) and I’d like to filter relations around paul by #family #friends. Would be also nice to see all groups that Paul belongs to.
Do you think this can be done in TB8? using aliases? with hyperbolic view?
