In this lesson, I show you how, using action code, to update the display expression ($DisplayExpression) of a Tinderbox note. Updating the display expression attribute enables you to change what you see in Tinderbox when looking at a note without actually changing the note’s actual name. For instance, the example I give in this lesson is how to show the child and descendant count of notes in a container without counting the child containers. I also show you how to use on add action code ($OnAdd).
