Dear Dr.Mark Anderson,
Thank you very much for your troublesome explanation twice.
When I tried my previous uncorrected file, even alphanumeric half-width input
2 was supposed to be Menlo, but it was changed to “Hiragino”.
I would like to be especially careful when entering numbers when using Japanese.
The font in the file provided by Mr.Michael Becker is indeed,
it was originally entered in “Andale Mono”,
and when I added it, it was entered in “Hiragino” etc.
This means that I was writing a 2-byte code font in.
I am using BBEdit to create notes in Japanese.
When inputting, “one letter of the alphabet”
is sometimes inserted automatically.
It seems like the app. is doing some preliminary reading
and conversion to make it recognize Japanese.
I was trying to write a diary using MacJournal,
but the Japanese input, I got fed up with the same behavior
and switched to BBEdit.
Lately, I have been having trouble with Japanese input.
In Spacemacs (Emacs28.2), Japanese (character input system
using Roman alphabet input) ddSKK.
However, since the input is always in alphabetical order,
the number of bytes is I do not have to think about it,
so it is very safe and I use it with confidence.
NB.(SKK (Simple Kana to Kanji conversion program))
Yours, WAKAMATSU
