In this Tinderbox Meetup, we 1) had a follow-up discussion from last week’s meetup on linking (namely, can their be a contextual pop-up on text links in $Text: short answer, no), 2) a review of Kim’s effort to use different learning models (Bloom Merrill’s and Becker’s 5Cs) to develop a personal professional development program, 3) a review of Becker’s new PDF/Pandoc publishing system—which lead to a discussion and a possible enhancement for the create() operator, 4) the role of $Display expressions and how to use them effectively, and 5) a review of note desigantors used in the context of export code and action code to programmatically find note IDs in a hierarchy and then contextually use them in output—i.e., Becker is leveraging this approach, in combination with calling functions within , to develop a university level mobile marketing curriculum.
