In this Tinderbox session, we were graced with the presence of Bech Tench and the community, who collectively engaged in an inspirational, human, empathy-laden dialog on how to use Tinderbox for thinking, note-taking, public speaking preparation, literature review mapping, qualitative research, thought organization, attention restoration, drawing/art, multi-dimensionality, different approaches to thinking, and more. All around, we discussed how we can go about leveraging thinking, tools for thought (e.g., Tinderbox), environment, geo-spatial displacement, and the community to make our lives and the world better.

We also addressed a need that Beck had, “how does one automatically link notes in map view without the mouse.” The solution was actually quite simple. All you need to do is add add this “linkFrom(previousSibling,"related”);” to the $OnAdd of a container. Then, start creating notes in that container.

Dave Rogers also shared a blog article, “Sea Stories,” and the thoughts he has on honor, leadership, and faith (see attachment).
